These terms apply when you use a Global Deals Direct website and, where we are the seller, when you purchase a product from Global Deals Direct. They should be read with our Privacy Policy and any product-specific shipping information.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a problem, your rights may include repair, replacement, refund or other remedies depending on the circumstances.
Product information
We take reasonable care to present products accurately, but colours, packaging, dimensions and minor details may vary between batches or suppliers. Product claims are limited to information we have reasonably verified. Images may include supplier reference images or licensed illustrative/lifestyle imagery and should not be interpreted as a promise of an exact setting or accessory unless expressly stated.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in the stated currency. When Stripe Checkout is used, payment is processed by Stripe. A product is not reserved until payment is successfully completed. We may correct obvious pricing or listing errors before fulfilment and, where appropriate, offer a refund rather than supply at an obvious erroneous price.
Delivery and fulfilment
Some products may be shipped by third-party suppliers or fulfilment partners, including suppliers located outside Australia. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Customs processing, supplier handling, carrier disruptions, weather and other events can affect delivery. If we know of a material delay before you order, we will aim to disclose it clearly. If supply becomes unavailable or delivery cannot reasonably be completed, we may offer an appropriate solution, including a replacement or refund where required.
Returns and refunds
Refunds, replacements and repairs are handled consistently with applicable consumer law. For change-of-mind returns, we may apply reasonable conditions stated at the time of purchase. To request help, use the Refunds & Support form and provide your order number and the issue.
Affiliate products
Some pages may link to products sold by an external retailer through an affiliate arrangement. When a page is clearly marked as an affiliate offer, your purchase contract is with that external retailer, not Global Deals Direct. The retailer's checkout, shipping, returns and privacy terms apply. We may receive a commission if you purchase through an affiliate link, at no additional cost to you.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content or use automated means in a way that unreasonably burdens the service.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of the website, third-party websites, or events outside our reasonable control. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer guarantees.
Third-party services
Stripe, carriers, suppliers and affiliate retailers operate their own services. Their terms may apply to parts of the transaction or fulfilment process. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for content or practices outside our control.
